A CUFFS-88 database can mirror the structure of a corporate tree. Use it to store information about hundreds of product lines, costs centers, subsidiaries, sales regions, phases of a financing project. Each level in the tree, such as Div 1 and Div 2 in the figure below, is a dimension of data. Built into CUFFS-88 are two other dimensions: Time Periods (days, weeks, months, quarters, years, ...) and Accounts (Current Assets, Sales, ...). Note that the following structures are fairly symmetric, but that is not a requirement.
In a CUFFS-88 multidimensional report you can select any number of items from any number of dimensions and choose how you want to display the information for the most meaningful reports. There is no limit to the number of dimensions you may put on any row, column, or page of your reports. |
